
Partners Czech is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, which was founded in 1992 as a result of cooperation with the American non-profit organization "Partners for Democratic Change", whose mission is to support the development of civic society and democracy in Central and East European countries.
A total of twenty Partners Centres are currently active throughout the world (Albania, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Jordan, Kosovo, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Romania, Senegal, Serbia, Slovakia, United States, Yemen).
Ever since its foundation, Partners Czech has been active predominantly in the areas of education and training. It organizes a number of training programs for the non-governmental and non-profit sector, as well as for government institutions, private firms and schools of all levels (from kindergartens to universities). It collaborates with the mass media and helps to implement community projects of regional and local impact.
The activities of Partners Czech further include consulting services in the area of human resource development, in setting up conciliation commissions, attached to local and regional authorities, which help to settle more complicated civil, professional and property disputes.
